Is there at least 40mm between the ball and the door?
To ensure that your tailgate or barn doors can open over the SpaceMaker, at least 40mm between the towball and the door is required. Have you checked the measurement?

Select swing direction
The pivot direction is freely selectable.
Note regarding the power outlet
Please note that with some vehicles, the socket is at the same height as the tow ball. Often, the plug cannot be inserted as the SpaceMaker is also at the same height. If this is the case, the swivel direction must be chosen to the side where the socket is not located. Alternatively, the socket must be relocated in advance by a specialist workshop.
Important Information
Gullwing doors
Depending on the bike rack, the barn doors may not open a full 90°. However, an internal pull-out is always extendable, ensuring accessibility.
Weight
The SpaceMaker has a net weight of 13.9kg. The maximum load it can carry is 65kg. The bike rack and the two bicycles must not exceed 65kg.
